Day 1 : NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok(75 kms / 3 hrs)
On your arrival at the NJP railway Station /Bagdogra (IXB) Airport our representative will meet and greet you. Our Baddogra to Gangtok taxi which has been sanitized regularly will drive you to Gangtok the capital city of Sikkim. On your arrival at the hotel check into the hotel. Freshen up and relax for some time. In the evening, you can go for a stroll on the MG Marg. Stay overnight at your prebooked Gangtok Hotel. Day 2 : xcursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel we start your second day of your 5 Night 6 Day Gangtok Darjeeling Kalimpong trip. We go for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Tsomgo is a sacred lake that attracts tourists from all over the country. It is a high altitude lake which is surrounded by magical mountains. With different seasons the lake water reflects different hues. During winter Tsongmo Lake gets frozen while in spring it brims with life with colourful flowers in its surroundings. Baba Harbhajan Mandir is the Indian millatary shrine was built in honour of a courageous Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh. He died due to extreme weather conditions while carrying supplies to a remote post near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. After the visit return back to your hotel and overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.
Day 3 : Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfer
Wake up to a beautiful morning and after you complete your breakfast our Gangtok to Darjeeling taxi transfer you to Darjeeling also known as the Queen of the Hills. Darjeeling is one of the majestic Hill Station in entire India and it is around 4 hours drive from Gangtok. On your arrival at Darjeeling check into your hotel at Darjeeling. Evening free to explore the Mall Road. This is your 1st night stay at Darjeeling on your 5 Night and 6 Day trip for Gangtok Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
Day 4 : Toy Train Ride and Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Early Morning at 04:00 am our driver will Sikkim Darjeeling Taxi will drive you to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (3rd highest peak). On your way back to the hotel from Tiger Hill visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track at a beautiful location with a great view point. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), and Japanese Temple, a Buddhist pilgrimage known for its wonderful traditional Japanese architecture. We then drive to Darjeeling Station to catch the Toy Train and experince the Joy of Riding. Evening you are free for shopping or leisure. This is the last night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5 : Darjeeling to Kalimpong Transfer and Kalimpong Sightseeing
After your breakfast at Darjeeling Hotel pack your bags and hope into your Darjeeling to Kalimpong Taxi. On arrival at Kalimpong Check-in to your hotel. Later in the afternoon enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong. Visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Pine View Nursery. This is the final night stay Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 6 : Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (120 kms / 5 hrs)
