At Sikkim Darjeeling Taxi, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate our customers. However, due to the nature of our services and the need to secure bookings in advance, the following cancellation policy applies:

1. Cancellation Timeframe and Charges:

• 0-10 days before the check-in date: 100% of the package amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• 11-20 days before the check-in date: 70% of the package amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• 21-30 days before the check-in date: 30% of the package amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
• More than 30 days before the check-in date: No cancellation fee will be charged, and a full refund will be processed (excluding any non-refundable deposits or fees).

2. No Refunds for Unused Services:

• No refunds will be provided for unused nights, early check-outs, or any services that are not utilized during the trip.

3. Flight or Train Cancellations:

• In case of flight or train cancellations or rescheduling, we are not responsible for any changes or no-shows. Customers are advised to check their flight/train timings before departure. No refunds or rebooking will be provided for no-shows.

4. Natural Calamities or Unforeseen Circumstances:

• In the event of natural calamities (e.g., heavy snowfall, landslides, roadblocks) or any unforeseen circumstances that prevent the execution of the planned itinerary, no alternate sightseeing or refunds will be provided. However, we will make every effort to offer alternative arrangements where possible.

5. Amendment Charges:

• If you wish to amend your travel dates after receiving the confirmation voucher, an amendment charge of 10% of the package amount will apply. We will try to accommodate you in the same hotel category. If the same category is unavailable, an alternate hotel will be provided, and any difference in cost will be borne by the guest.

6. Cancellation Process:

• To cancel or amend your booking, a written notification must be sent by the person who made the original booking. The cancellation will be effective from the date the notification is received.

7. Non-Refundable Services:

• Government ferry tickets, private ferry tickets, and any other non-refundable services booked in advance will not be eligible for a refund.

8. Payment Gateway Charges:

• Please note that payment gateway charges (3.9%) are non-refundable in case of cancellations.
